Team UMACA Competes in Indy Cup Taekwondo Championships: Schubert, Baker and West Place First in Division
INDIANAPOLIS, IN - May 17, 2008 - Eleven members of UMACA's 2008 Taekwondo Competition Team competed in the Indy Cup Taekwondo Championships held in Indianapolis, Ind., on May 17, 2008. Caitlin Baker, a third degree black belt, and Michael Schubert, a brown belt, both triumphed in their divisions' forms competition with first place. Jason West, an first degree black belt, successfully battled for first place in his division for sparring. Over 350 competitors participated in the regional tournament from a variety of states including Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio and Tennessee.
